I've never seen a woodmanse up here in NY. Stover yes i have an open gear Samson i restored and I know of two Airflows on the same farm I'm hoping to buy some day

Nice mill I have one I call them the Big Ugly. Woodmanse made some internal gear mills called the Moguls which were for high capacity pumping.

Yes those Samson's were overkill. I believe there was 12 separate pours when i did the bearings cause of being split bearings

Wayne, I have an Ottawa mill, made around 1907, open gear. It has an internal gear, but you will never see one unless you come by. LOL
