That movie is running around the country somewhere. I started mailing it to other windmillers years ago, and had a list with it to keep track of where it went. I guess it got lost, or is sitting in someone's dresser drawer someplace. I kinda thought the idea of a 'chain-movie' was neat. Oh well.

Eclipse on the vane but painted to look like an Axtell Standard. Wonder what was on the weight. White was better than cow patty green I guess.

Just wanted to point out that the early Eclipse windmills (Eclipse Windmill Co.) were indeed painted white with red trim. These colors would have been used until the Eclipse Windmill Co was reorganized and was partially bought out by the Fairbanks Morse Co. around 1880,ten years later Fairbanks Morse took total control of Eclipse production.Sometime during this time the color was changed to the s---brindle green with red trim. Attached is a photo of of the original color scheme...

Thanks Ivan all I'd ever seen were the green. AS I said everyday an education. Can't remember what I went to the grocery store for because I've got so much good stuff up there!
