Freeman Clipper 8’ U-top

Post by peter.welsh@snet.net »

Hi I’m new to the forum. I always wanted a windmill and one came available to me. It’s a Freeman Clipper 8’ 24 blade unit with a 30 foot steel tower. I’m looking for detailed pictures of parts and or dimensions. I would like it to work again but may have to down size my ideas to make it a rotating display piece.

Welcome Peter! You have an interesting mill. Post a few pics of what you're working with and I'm sure someone will chime in with helpful info.

Peter I have a Freeman. The literature I found calls mine a Freeman Steel, but in the big book it is called the Improved Clipper, then there is just the Clipper. Yeah post some pictures. They also have a Freeman at Shatuck OK. Terry who is on this site may be able to help you.
