Mystery tower
Re: Mystery tower
Not a very good picture but the top angles are sort of mortised together. I was looking for pictures of another belll hub tower top but could not find any. The double truss rod connectors also stood out to me

Re: Mystery tower
I can see now the top of the tower is notched like an aermoter. They look like they're built well also i like the steel gussets that the X braces hook to. Thanks for the pics Peter

Re: Mystery tower
My tower had a Toronto Bell hub on it when I bought it. Looks just like the the above.
I mounted my Aermotor B602 on it. Mast pipe fit perfectly. Very well built and heavy tower.

They are good towers except the ladder steps are junk on them.

Re: Mystery tower
I totally agree that the steps are very poor. You need a good soled boot when climbing them.
My Monitor L rungs are far better.

Re: Mystery tower
There was the Bell hub and the self oiling model. There was also an open geared version which was similar to the star 12 from F&W. I have a parts list of that one, but have never seen one before. It would be a rare one that I would like to find one day.
the mast pipe in the first picture isn't Toronto its probably Aermotor
