Can we talk about this regulator. Im just about done my F&W 12. Not sure how this thing even works. Ive hooked a heavy cord up to it and i can crank it in to furl but how do i get it to release without slamming the tail vane? And what happens to the hand crank?

I cant find any info on these. I have a parts list. It looks like a really neat accessory.

If you want to unfurl the tail you hold the crank in one hand release the trip with the other hand and uncrank the tail with your hand.

Maybe the hand crank isn't used with the automatic control. Would be my thought.
