The "M" on Dempster was kinda funky but i painted it as i found it. Ive looked on the forum and different places and it seems no two are the same

This mill was on a Goold, Shapely and Muir tower as were a few of them around here so the Dempster truing spider was welded to the Gs&m piece. These Dempsters were sold by Mcpherson Tom in Regina and the Gs&m dealer was only a block or so away. I went to McPherson Tom to ask about the windmills and he said he had just the week before thrown out all the books he had. He also said that about ten years ago there was a shed in the back that was full to the rafters of windmill parts, sails, tails, gears, everything. No one wanted it so it all went for scrap! This one is not going for scrap!

My brake surface has worn itself completely away. Does anyone have a decent original hub they'd be willing to sell?

Not sure if it takes the same hub as a #12. If the shaft measures 1 1/8, then I believe it does.

I'm pretty sure I don't. We go through a LOT of Dempsters, and are always low on some parts. I would suggest calling Dan B.
