is this a windmill part ?

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

measurements are square , hole in the center is square , no casting #'s , no name .
Is it a windmill part , or just something that was in the box of "stuff " ?

Looks to me it's a tower cap or part of one.

I think I posted this on here at some point in the past, but it seems Stover made this adapter plate and likely other adapter plates for what you’re doing with that Stover tower top.

I believe that top plate is like the one on my Samson open gear.
