Aermotor Buzz-Saw

Post by hwy8 »

I'm looking to buy an Aermotor made buzz-saw, or any grinders/parts, accessories/literature for an Aermotor power mill. If you've got something for sale, or a lead to follow; please PM me. Burt

Thanks! I don't have that ad and illustration: Do you know what catalog/publication it came from?....(I always appreciate attempts to educate me!)

There is a saw like that looks a lot like that at an antique store in Tyler, Tx. I've never looked at it up close since I don't have a want for it. Next time I'm in Tyler I'll look at it. been setting there for years.

Hey, Windy, it does look like a safety nightmare doesn't it? Even though I'd like to find one for display purposes, I think I'd pin the saw shaft so it wouldn't spin, or maybe make a saw blade out of a 1/4" piece of fiberboard. The only times I've seen one was at the Henry Ford museum and just down the road from me in Hastings, MN (where I took the photo)....Wayne: I'd appreciate your "look-see" if you'd ever have a chance! At shows they put water hose cut with a slit on one side for a blade guard.
