Tail pin and outer brake cover

I have a six-foot blade, 28-foot tower Fairbury Hel-I-Cut windmill. I am looking for the tail pin and the brake, the one I have does not have a brake pad, not sure if they are supposed to. I am just learning about it, as I erected it a few days ago. Thanks. Jon

Welcome to the forum. I think you might be referring to a model 7AA, but I could be incorrect on the Hel-I-Cut.

You might try Dan Benjamin for the parts.

Attached are a few photos of my in-laws 8’ Fairbury 7AA showing what the tail pin and brake look like. This windmill has since been erected.

No brake pad just a steel band. If it’s worn and you need one I have replacements as well as the tail pin.
