Anyone knowledgeable about Flint & Walling Star 37 windmill production?

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Anyone knowledgeable about Flint & Walling Star 37 windmill production?

Post by Jim Corcoran »

It appears there were four versions (modifications?) of the F&W Star 37 during its life time. For the 8’ mill there were series 81, 82, 83, and 84. Anyone have any info on what the differences of each of these would have been, along with dates of manufacture, quantity of each, etc.

I’d like to put a date or timeframe to the series 83 I’m rebuilding.

As always, any help is greatly appreciated.
