Appleton-Goodhue
Re: Appleton-Goodhue
Several of us would like that mill , there would be a bidding war in Poteet .
Re: Appleton-Goodhue
I have a friend who lives very close to Davis. I asked if she could get it for me. Sadly they said they don't have anywhere to store it. Darn hahaha
Re: Appleton-Goodhue
Welp, my friend was able to pick it up and keep it for me afterall! Now I just gotta go get it.. Will be a good excuse to finally go see the great lakes haha
Re: Appleton-Goodhue
Happy to see it worked out.
Re: Appleton-Goodhue
Took a trip back down to Jim's earlier today. At the trade fair he said he has a wheel and tail for a Goodhue Special. He had a complete mill that had a model A transmission welded to the main casting as the main shaft!? I got the wheel, tail and stub tower and we decided the main casting monstrosity would be a good display at the museum hahaha

Re: Appleton-Goodhue
Will do. I'll have to get some new blades from Dan. Someone cut off every single one on the wheel haha. Then probably around spring time I'll go up to my friends in Illinois to bring to motor home and put her all together
