Looks like what I want to achieve Mike. How did you do yours?

clamped ends in the vice , put a round pipe , tube , dowel , whatever on the opposite end , start turning till you get the equivelent of the one you are trying to match .

I thought you might have to keep tension on the wires while turning. Have not tried yet.
