the suburban tower looks more heavy duty to me , probably braced more for the water tank ?

I think so. Considering water runs around 8 pounds a gallon. But I have no idea how much the tank-towers held.

Went to visit Tim today to look over what he had for parts to complete his mill. Had a good time and while there he took me to check this really cool Aermoter with a wood water tank. Pretty Cool !!

That set-up is really interesting . The really old & the really new , solar power & wind power & old refurbished stone wall fence .

found some time to work on the A602 today, starting to look like something, not a just a pile of parts, the spoke hub when I looked in side under the plug was packed in years of slimey grease, when it was rebuilt they never cleaned it out got the little oil screw out and high air pressure blew great chunks of the old grease out, flushed it with gas a few times letting it spin, finally looks pretty clean, put some ATF in the gearbox so it start spinning, wheel came out round, took a bit to figure that all out, have some issues for the furl brake to figure out yet

Looking good Tim you'll be a windmiller in no time !! Keep me posted on the furl system and the tower you are hoping to get. If I have to come visit again just let me know. Dan.
