I've used my plasma cutter to cut designs in windmill sails. Don't remember getting sick. I did use a darkened face shield while I was cutting maybe that kept the fumes away.

THANKS EVERTONE FOR ALL THE RESPONSES ! I HAVE A FRIEND THAT HAS BEEN HELPING ME ON MY SAMSON . HE IS A GREAT MACHINIST & I THINK HE CAN WELD ICE CUBES TO GLASS DOOR KNOBS ALSO . I WILL TRY TO LET ALL KNOW HOW THEY COME OUT . MIKE

Crack welding has a higher success rate if you drill an 1/8 inch hole just beyond any evidence of the crack. The hole.is then welded same as the crack. Mig is preferred as it isn't as hot, less distortion, and can take paint
