Snowe's Patent

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Snowe's Patent

Post by Gregg »

I have been cleaning and moving windmill towers around. I have a tower that has a stencil on one of the legs. "Snow's Patent March 21, 18??". No patent number. Pump rod guides in tower with casting number 108.
Anybody have any info?

Yes the year is 1893 made by snow manufacturing.I have seen two other towers with those markings. I believe their decorah windmill was on that tower originally, pretty sure!! I believe Windy Bob has one also.
