Parish 8’

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Parish 8’

Post by 63markB »

Hello everyone. I recently picked up the remains of a Parish mill and drug it back to my bone yard. I believe it is an attempt of someone trying to make it an electrical generator mill. My question is, does anyone know if parish mills ever made anything like this or is it for certain a shop made contraption. Will try to attach pictures.

Interesting adaptation. Looks homemade and not something that I’ve ever seen on a Parish parts list.

I agree with Michael , too much modern angle iron , hex nuts , modern plastic coated wire , but novel idea
