Roller bearing Aermotor

Saw this Ad for an Aermotor with roller bearings. Don't know that I'd ever knew that you could get an Aermotor with roller bearings.

It was the only year they did that. Either a failure or to costly cause they went back to Babbitt on the model 99 !!

I was thinking maybe too costly. More machining to fit roller bearings I would think.
