The inner band on my Duplex is 26 7/8th. It's cut at an angel the short side of angle is 25 1/2.

Im going to make the hood for the Dempster, if someone has one could you measure it for me, thanks

It's 1 inch thick by 3 inches wide. I don't know that it has to be that thick since there isn't a lot of push and pull on it like the upper one.
