Jason, does the county have any paperwork on who installed or restored this mill? The Emick family from Lamar,Colorado may have had a hand in this. They would be a good place to start. Hope this might help. Ron

It was installed by Loren Lockman out of Nebraska, we contacted him and he is no longer in the windmill business.

Check with Loren Lockman, he has restored several RR Eclipse mills. PM me if you need his number.

I live near that windmill - I wondered what had happened to it. Hopefully it will be repaired, it sure was a majestic guy.

Crandall Drilling in Strasburg has some interest in windmills - I don't know how much but they're a well and pump company and they have 2 downed windmills in their yard that they're planning on refurbishing and setting back up.

Jason -
Also, maybe the people who run the 17 mile house would have some ideas - they have a big Eclipse and a Dempster 9.

PS - if you replace the Eclipse, please consider replacing it with something different than an Aermotor. You've already got 2 of those. As a member of Arapahoe County, I'd love to see a different windmill.

Why yes I do have a lot to say about this topic!

Thanks those are also ours. We have a company that is working on replacing the one at the fairgrounds too so hopefully it'll be back up soon.
