What is it?

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

What is it?

Post by windybob »

I thought this was a Dempster when it was in the pile. Sorting the boneyard out, I see now it's not a Dempster. Can you help me out? Thanks!

Any casting numbers? I can’t read any of the casting numbers with any certainty. Possibly a Dempster 6 or 7?

There are casting numbers on it. The numbers and the tower top look nothing like a Dempster. No fan, and Im not certain about a tail. No tower either.

The tower cap is likely for a wood tower…best guess.
