Flood

The latest on Missouri river flood. You can NOT cross the river on Hwy 34 at Plattsmouth, nor Hwy 2 at Neb City, nor Hwy 136 at Brownsville. Hwy way I 80 at Omaha and Hwy 36 at St Joe Mo. are open.

You can cross Mo. river on I 80 into Omaha. Stay on I 80 thru Omaha and take exit 440 south on Hwy 50 and drive aprox 40 miles to Syracuse. At St Joe Mo. cross on Hwy 36 into Ks. and turn north on Hwy 75 to Neb City then west on Hwy 2 to Syracuse.

We will be coming the same route as Wayne, via US75. We are staying at the Lied Lodge in Nebraska City. Any weather related issues for which we should be on the lookout ? Thanks and looking forward to the visit.

Are hwy 2,136 and 34 washed out or under water?

Mostly under water. I 29 had some exit and entrance ramps washed out.

Is hwy 2 flooded to get to the Expo center to the museum ?

The museum and the expo center are both on the Neberska side of the river.
River is the state line.
Hwy 2 is flooded between Neberska and Iowa.
