Huron County Ontario museum

Generally speaking, this area is for general discussion about windmills, in most cases.

Huron County Ontario museum

Post by Peter vk »

Hi everyone, I visited the Huron County museum last weekend, there are 3 windmills displayed there. One is a 14ft New Ideal, made buy Goold Shapley & Muir. Anyone know what the other two are? The wooden one kind of looks like a Halladay Standard.

The one metal one is a Stover air flow i believe and the wood one does resemble a Halladay but the tailvane is slightly different not sure about that one !!

I'm leaning towards a Challenge Sectional Wheel for the wooden one.
