I picked up a couple of Dempster heads while in Lubbock. One is an 8 foot No. 12, one an 8 foot 12A and the other is a 6 foot. Both 8 footers say "Dempster" and the size and model number are displayed on the underside of the snout. The only writing I've seen on the 6 footer is "Made in USA". Is that pretty much standard for the 6-foot mills?

Dempster Question
Re: Dempster Question
I can’t answer this question, but I was thinking both “congratulations” and “my condolences” when you said you had picked up three Dempsters. Kidding aside, they are good windmills, but generally test my patience on a rebuild.
Re: Dempster Question

Re: Dempster Question
Thanks Mike.
I've read all the Dempster stories, but I figured that of the three, if I can get at least one going, everything that follows will be easier. Kind of like that old saying, if you eat a live toad for breakfast, nothing worse will happen to you all day.

Re: Dempster Question
It's normal for 6 footers to not have the name.
It's normal for all 8 footer to have the name.
