So last year when I was trying to pull down a wooden Aermotor handle, I ended up busting it..... whoops!! That screw near the end of the handle (which strengthens the wood) fell out, so there was nothing to hold it together. So I had to do a mockup brake job where I just shoved the handle through the backside of the mount...
And fun fact: that windmill is still spinning away after a whole year because the brake hasn't been fixed!!
