date for 2020 trade fair; how many wms are on display

Post by Challenge 27 »

Want to write to someone to encourage them to come to the 2020 trade fair at Shattuck (they are not windmillers and have never been to one). But . . .

Strange the things you can forget. Somebody announced the dates for the 2020 trade fair when we were at Nebraska City. But I can't remember them.

Equally important would be the number of windmills on display at Shattuck. Have never tried to count them myself, I don't have enough fingers 'n' toes. And I'm sure several have been put up since I was last there.

Hopefully, some stalwart member of the Vintage Windmill Forum can help me out.

The trade fair in Shattuck is June 10 -12, 2019
I think there are about 40 mills outside and 14 or so inside.
I had several helpers with there fingers and shoes off. So we got them all counted.

I'm sure that should be June 10-12 2020. Terry was still putting on his shoes after counting.

Thanks for the video. Looks like they have a nice display of windmills. I better put those dates on the calendar and see it we can make it work. It's looks like about 450 mile drive for us so not to bad. Any motels that anyone would recommend?
