Tower

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Maybe Elgin. I put up an Elgin Wonder B and it was on a tower that had similar steps, but I don't know that the tower was original to the mill.

Hi Bill this looks like an older USWE tower. Definitely not an Elgin. It has stamped steel steps, round rods, and kick out near the top. Get it if you can. I'd like to get a better look at the top. Looks pretty squarish but wide spread like an old USWE.
