sucker rod

Post by mtblah »

What does this fit ?
this part is conneced to the origional wooden sucker rod.
approx 10 " long, 3 " in dia and metal rod slides thru the center.
appears to be for a 4 legged tower so it wont fit my 3 legged tower.
any ideas ?

I think it's called a stuffing block. It was used with a pressure system, I got one once when I bought a dempster pump powered by an electric motor. I have a Dempster catalog that shows a pressure tank and the whole setup..

For an overhead tank or pumping water up hill they are the only solution.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
