Thanks, in advance for your experience and assistance. I am an off-grid guy living in the Temecula, CA area.
I have a working Heller-Aller Baker 12 foot mill on a 40 foot tower. I bought it in the 90's, broke it in half, trailered it to the property and reassembled the lower half piece by piece. Hardest job in my life! But after a recent pump rod rebuild and the addition of a new pump rod swivel, it's running strong and quiet.
I've made many of the mistakes I see mentioned in your notes but look forward to getting your thoughts on future challenges. I wish I knew of you in '95 but then, there were no computers and no internet.
