Aermotor Bell hub.
I recently picked up a barn find bell hub.i started cleaning up the mill and to my surprise when cleaning up the large gear there was a pat Date Jan15 1878 ten years before there first mill in 1888 interesting

Patent dates don't mean mfg dates, but I agree veeery interesting.

Ok guys i think i figured it out.Thomas Perry who was the designer engineer for aermoter had his first patd.in1873 and many to follow.Apparently USWE and Eclipse didn't want to use his patents but Laverne Noyes did owner of aermoter.Too bad for the earlier two they might still be around.
