Can anyone help me to identify this aermotor?
Re: Can anyone help me to identify this aermotor?
So your saying someone did some southern engineering in Spain.

Yeppers. I have many in the bonepile with similar (im)provements. Lol
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

I'm not well aquainted with the larger size Aermotors. Will be interesting to see what Ron has to say.

Hey Windy, Ron took a look last night but could not get on to comment. He had one more service to do this morning and then was heading back to Colorado. He did notice the spoke clips where they attach to the inner band but I can't remember what he said about them. At the time he was trying to impair my judgement with VooDoo Ranger.

Lol Jeff, not too long from now, you won't need assistance from Ron, or help from anything to have impaired judgement.
Glad you got your mill done.
Oh what warrantee? Lol

Re: Can anyone help me to identify this aermotor?
It is an early 2nd generation 602 1918-21:
Side drain plug
No pinion plugs
Non U bolt hub, those are the J bolts clamps for the V
Flat strap pitman
It has twisted clamp inner band spoke braces which was on later D602s. D602 is the only size I have ever seen that had both styles but then the wheel was "reworked"
That is the correct approx blade length for a 12' without being Aermotor blades.
With all that is wrong including also having broken main gear interlock tabs? , you will be working on everything.
I have seen too many with a crumpled tail, broken hub and kinked tower to say that either someone was tilting it down or it got pushed over?

I have a 12 foot (D) 602, with many of the parts you would need to get your functioning. I am in California, and have no idea what shipping would run.
