Ready reference for Aermotor 3 & 4 leg footprints. This is only good for the standardized easy to build up towers.

If going from a 40 to a 47 you can use the chart for the footprint.

I think the lower angle iron X braces cant be moved down to accommodate going from a 40 to 47. In 4 post, they only have 3 sets of holes good for 27, 33 & 40. In 4 post the X brace is same for 47 & 53

Ken I measured the two 3 post towers I have and one measured 62" from leg to leg at 21 foot and 70 " at 27 ft I believe it is a baker tower ( 6 ft wbbaker) The other tower measured 70 " at 21 ft and 88" at 27 ft unknown make but believed to have had a 10 ft head on it at one time. Rons table would be more accurate.
