What are the welded-on nuts used for?

The nuts are for “Jack bolts” to level and plumb the tower before the concrete is poured. The are 1”-8 NC nuts. This was designed by Jerry Barker, he receives all the credit for this.

Hehehe, Mike, I was down your way this past weekend. Sure was dry. A little further west in Kerr, llano, and Gillespie counties the pastures look like it’s mid December

There is also a galvanizing plant in Waskom. Might be closer to you Mark. I wish I had know of the one in Crowley before I drove to Waskom.
