Vintage Windmill and Wind Generator Forum

When I was taking my windmills down for my move. I rented one of the big tired fork lifts. I got them to put a basket on the forks and it was a good stable platform for taking them apart and then setting the head on the ground. Two men could work in the basket easily. I used it rather than a bucket lift. With it being on wheels it was easily driven around to the mills plus you have a lot less moving around while in the air with it's boom extended.

Thanks for the tip, that is likely what I will do.
