Does anyone know what kind of mill this is?

Have a part you can't identify? Did your parts get mixed up in the shop? Curious if that chunk of metal is a part you should keep? Not sure what kind of windmill or tower you have? Post photos of the mystery object here for the community to help identify.

Yes Jim was the one that restored the mills there. They were all in a great state of disrepair. He worked for years and only got a fraction of them restored. I don’t think they have anyone doing it now. So he did not want that to happen, although he did love the museum so much…

There may be a board, or a board of trustees, or at least someone there that's in charge to ask. That would be awesome to have all his mills there to display to the public for admiration, and historic purposes.

Yes that would be awesome. He wanted to start his own museum some day. But alas, I must sell them as needed.
