Yeah been there once. The only thing about Ames Ok. You have to want to go there because it's not on the way to anywhere else you might want to go.

Taking me a little trip to the Hill Country tomorrow. Going to Fredericksburg and Kerrville coming back home Monday.

Update: Put all together as is. The bolts were replaced as needed for safety, but rusted finish to match. Everything is as found. the main vane was tightened up with new rusted nails. I was just going to wash the blades with mild dishwasher soap but leave the rest of the parts as is. I would build a new 16-18 foot tower in wood and age the wood and then mount the mill as is. Any additional input and direction for next steps is appreciated.
