Mike, all Monitor mills are single geared, and relatively easy. However just like with any other mill, they have things you can slide on, and things you really have to pay attention to. Dempsters can be very difficult. Understanding how everything operates in them is critical to a successful hands on venture. I am really glad I learned at my windmill start about old rusty Dempster mills. Seems everything else is easy after that.

I certainly understand and agree with you on Dempsters.

I’d agree…if you work on Dempsters first, everything else should be easier after that.
