It's just the 1/4 inch rod. You hook the cable from the handle to it. That rod is like 4 or 5 ft long. It has a loop on the end.

It took me a long time to wrap my head around the idea of having 2 rotating axis' at the same place. (like a modern Dempster.) Of course yours only has one, the pumprod. the pullout only rotates above the swivel.

finished rebuilding gearbox and wheel on my modified 10 ft dempster number 10 getting ready to put it back on tower hopefully this weekend

The modified dempster model 10 10 ft is back up. Thanks Michael Porterfield prairie legend windmills and Dwight cavner for your hard work and to everyone else who has helped physically and with advice. Will have to start on the dempster no 12 next.
