Here is the windlass handle and gear. If this doesn't measure up. let me know. I have a box of them.

Handle is 8 in long.
tube is 1 3/4 OD
tube is 4 3/4 long
the slip on gear is about 3 in in dia.

On this ladder step, let me know. The rivets are 10 3/4 C to C
It's 1 inch high. Folded sheet steel
