I went to an Aermotor windmill that was available to buy on 33' tower and found the wood platform singed and burnt, one leg all the way to the ground had black carbon on it and a grass fire had occurred all around the tower. I didn't remove the helmet to look inside. Wish now I would have. Didn't get it bought as owner was more proud of it than I was.
