Dan , thanks for the updated photos , I know there has been previous discussion about the tower inside but I still think it is cool to incorporate into structure holding up the beams .

I've been wanting one of these GEM chain driving pumps for a while but because of are weather there usually all rusted i got lucky and found this one in a barn !!

Nice water elevator, did you get the buckets with it? Here a lot of the older houses had their gutters drain into a big brick lined cistern and one of these would be over it. Kids sure have fun bringing up water with them but most are open gear so they are finger getters. Your display building is really looking good!

Aaron only some of the buckets are there and are leather. Were they all made of leather?

No, the ones I have are metal. Fastened to a chain like would be on a planter.
