In everyone’s professional opinion,,,is there any reason you shouldn’t paint the mills a different color than “red metal primer”? Like maybe a bright red?

no. just your basic red. Where I get it, red comes in few different shades. I doesn't really matter to me. But then again, I have a history of blues, greens, purples, etc. lol

I paint my open gear aermoters international harvester red.
