Yep, when I grew up in the oil fields of Duval County, it (Texaco) was always referred to as "The Texas Company".

Have never seen any cans in my area. Always on the look out. Our local tractor supply also quit carrying the non detergent 10 wt oil but before they did it was put on clearance for 4.99 a two and half gallon jugs needless to say I bought what they had left
