Some one needs to explain to President Biden how putting
the brakes on the Keystone Xl pipeline project that was well under way
and billions invested was a bad move .Going to come back to haunt him.
Just watching CNN and see he has already signed 42 executives orders
in 9 days.

Looks like the class was talkative while I was away.

I work construction (PM for a contractor who does nothing but water and waste water plants). I could rattle on for hours about domestic -vs- import pipe/valves/fittings. But it won't change anything. And for this discussion, it no longer matters. I'm leaning towards schedule 80 PVC for my drop pipe. I've seen too much corrosion on the steel drop pipes around here. I do like the idea of the little weep hole below grade though. We don't see freezing temperatures often, or for long, but I love the built-in, passive options. I don't have to do anything to make that work right, and I'll never even notice what it costs me in lost water. We run our exterior pipes maybe 4-6 nights a year. Sometimes I'm not paying attention, or I get lazy and I don't run them on a cold night. It's only bitten me once and I had to replace a shower head on an outdoor shower by the pool. I could see a frozen drop-pipe on a windmill causing a train wreck though.
