Looks like NPS threads on the neckpipes. I know Monitor mills had that thread, didn't know the Woodmanse did.

In case anyone has an extra, there's room under my Christmas tree for an 1 1/2 NPS die. ;)

They are 1 1/2 NPT, it's a 1 7/8 OD mast pipe and it tapers to 1 1/2 with tapered threads.

Thanks. The taper is not all that noticable to my eyes.

Was able to make some progress this weekend on the woodmanse. Got the interior put together and running pretty smoothly for 100 year old parts, should smooth out once the new pins and bushings wear in. So putting that aside for now to start cleaning and priming the exterior pieces and sourcing springs and rebuilding some pulleys for the brake mechanism.

Any recommendations for sourcing springs?

Got some time this weekend to put it mostly back together, with no extra parts.

Now on to the turntable and pull out. Whoever worked on it before looks like they had Dempster parts on their truck and a welder but it worked.
