Were woodmanse painted white? If so it looks like mine still has some original paint on it

I was thinking of cutting up some beer cans and massaging them to shape to slip over the opening.

old license plates also work well , a little stronger but still maluable .

I don't have any old license plates, but I certainly do have plenty of empty beer cans around
