Mike, yes they made their own foot gears and also made lots of different pumps. GSM and Toronto aren't too common around here, mostly Beattys around here.
Re: Goold Shapley & Muir Power Mill
this foot gear is in the museum in Kendallville Indiana. I wonder who else built power mills

Hand on someone has the answer. I think about everyone that was a big time builder of windmills had a power mill in their catalog.
Re: Goold Shapley & Muir Power Mill
Wayne, you are correct.
Call Dan Benjamin for parts. P M me for the phone number. IF YOU TALK TO HIM, AND HE HELPS YOU, THEN BUY FROM HIM. IT CREATES GOOD KARMA.

I was there at the trade fair in 2017, I don't remember seeing that footgear anywhere.Mike Hage wrote: Mon Jan 18, 2021 9:51 pm Kendallville-Indiana-20150805-_534bc96c46.jpg this foot gear is in the museum in Kendallville Indiana. I wonder who else built power mills

A little more progress with one of the power mills, it's almost ready to put the wheel on. I got about 2 inches of clearance to get it out the door

Very nice job. I had a model 99 -14ft aermotor power mill that was a barn find in gr8 condition.it came with a foot gear and slip clutch and shaft from mill down to slip clutch.what a beautiful mill. Sorry i let that one go.but it's in a good home now.

Nice! I am sure you did the wood work also. I assume it's going in the 2 story part of the barn but inside or outside?

So was the 99 power mill a pull in same as the pumper? That would be one rare windmill. Is it's home in a museum somewhere? I hope so as I would like to see itI had a model 99 -14ft aermotor power mill that was a barn find

Ron, yes I made the wood display stand. They are both going in the high part of the barn. I would like to have one outside but I better not, don't want it to be destroyed after all that work to get them going again.
The gear ratio on these is 1 to 6.
