best of luck bob, i was wondering if you would be at trade fair,
I really thought I would go this year. Just a short 2 hour drive as the crow flies from my house. Surprises always seem to be around the corner you have not arrived at yet.

Windy we need you to get better the last time I laughed was your comment about buying green bananas
Well we can toss that one out of the jokebook now!

Looks like I'll be around for a while. Just think, I don't even have to buy the latex paint any more. I can even use the slow drying oil paint.

We're pulling for you Windy!!
It worked! There is a really good chance i would not be sitting here if I hadn't found the issue with my heart.

Thanks! I'd like to tell Windy after the operation for me it was an easy ride downhill. Not much hard stuff. Lots of walking if you are up to it. Lots of sleeping in chairs as you can't pull yourself out of bed with your arms. Hang in there Windy we all miss you.
Thanks Wayne. The pain either was not as bad as I expected, or the still have good drugs. My problem was breathing.

Paul Thanks for the update. Glad Windy is doing good. Most folks I know that have had a bypass went in not feeling well and came home with a bypass. Its nice to have time to get ready.
Yes, I did get ready, but if I would not have found it by chance, I probably would be typing this from a very high elevation. lol

Glad to hear an update, I think about him real often. Almost everyone I know who has had that felt like some sort of miracle was preformed so I am sure he will feel better also but he is someone I call a friend so I still worry a bit.
Thanks Aaron. That's nice!

What makes Windy unique is he is always willing to share his ideas and they are usually right on. I always look forward to what he has to say about a subject that comes up.
Gee Wayne, you are almost about to talk me into charging for advice.
Also, we are all unique in our own way. It's a good thing! If everyone was like me, the world would be in trouble.

Hope u get well Bob!
Working on it! Much better with the passing of time. Thanks!

Paul Thanks for the update. Prayers headed windy's way.
Prayers working. "Knee mail" also is good. If we all say prayers for the country, maybe it will work too. But that's a subject for a different website.

Paul Thanks for the update. Glad to hear Windy's doing well.
LOL I don't remember the time after the surgery, nor do I remember the 2nd day either. When I finally woke up, I lost that 2nd day to history.
rockingjl » Tue Nov 02, 2021 7:50 am
Awesome! Amen! Will continue prayers for recovery
Thanks Jeff!

This news makes my day! Can't wait for full Windy recovery and back to his entertaining, informative replies to all of us.
Tom, as soon as I respond to everyone, I will try. Of course, entertaining, and informative are usually subjective.

Bob's doing well this morning. Once discharged, he'll be at his son's for a few weeks. If anyone wants his interim address just send me a PM.
AH HA! Now I know how Ed found me.

After this photo was posted, it broke the last windmill web site.
Maybe one day they can get together again for another photo shoot:
Good grief Bryon! About the time I put that in the memory vault, you bring it back up.

How about the 12 days of Christmas? I have a copy somewhere....
weightdude » Tue Nov 02, 2021 8:17 pm

OMG, I forgot about that pic!! That was an instant classic from the time it was originally posted.
Hey Ed, for your pleasure, there are variations of the photo.

Oh yeah! That was an awesome picture, well done Bryon
Hey Jeff, if I fell face first in the mud, you would probably say "well done" too.
PaulV » Wed Nov 03, 2021 11:21 am
Update this morning at 0934 CST:
Pain meds made him a little loopy overnight so they had to pull back on them, so he dealt with some pain until they took the chest tubes out recently. Much better now.
PaulV
OMG when they pulled those tubes out, I thought my heart was coming out too. But the real test of maturity, is when that nurse yanked the catheter out.
