All my pump hoists have been Smeal up to this point. I had bought a Smeal 5T from this pump installer and then they came back and wanted me to buy their Monitor 35 also. They priced it right so am now a proud owner. The 35 doesn't have a transmission drive for different line speeds like the 33 and 34. From what the prior user described it is different speeds based on hydraulic flow? It does have an electrical port that looks like it would just be for fast idle and not cable control? I did contact Baker Monitor at last week's National Ground Water convention and got the one page sales brochure but that was all. They are a fairly stout rig with 1/2" main line and 10,000 # lifting capacity.
Anybody out there have any info or experience on these rigs?
