Bought this tower and head on Saturday and would like to know if anyone can identify it?
The tower consists of three 10 ft sections. The support rods go thru the girts in the center and
at the ends.
Looks like the sails and vane had been removed a long long time ago. Tower is sitting over an
old pump house which will have be partly removed for the tower to be taken down
The owner knows nothing of its history.
Not going to pick up until the snow melts .Going to try and use it for the Dempster Model 14
that I acquired last fall .Should not be a problem as when I got the Dempster head I salvaged
the top 5 feet of the damaged tower it was on.

Very nice. Hard to tell from the pics, but it looks like it has the early style pitman arms.
Joe, did you get a pic of the other side? 180* from the second pic.

No I did not. I might go out there today if the sky clears up. This mill is only 6 miles from my place.
There also is a Baker WB that is just a few miles past this one.I have driven by that one dozens of times.
Each time seems more of the sails were falling off. I am going to see the owner to ask if I can rescue
it. I hate to a mill slowly being destroyed by nature.

Guy did not want to sell Baker as said he likes to use it as a weather vane.
Took a photo from opposite side but the sun never came out so its a bit dark.

Re: Idenify tower and head
There does not appear to be a mast pipe visible. Wonder what has kept the head from
falling all these may years. Noticed the head is tilted slightly down.

MAy be on the ground right under the tower. I didn't notice that! omg!

The mast pipe is there, it looks like it wore thru at the stay.. Blow up the second pic and look between the tower angles at the top, you can see it angling down to the right.
Thanks,
