Working on an old Fairbury oil bath with wooden pitman arms. Quit different from the 7AA series. Anyone have info or parts diagram or has overhauled one?

Dave,I have a 1925 Fairbury "Blue Book" which shows all of their products. They list a No 7 Super-Oiled which has wood pitmans listed in the parts list. It appears somewhat different from the 7AA. Hope this helps.

On the Vintage Windmill Parts site, there is literature for the models 7A and 8 that describe them as "super-oiled". Baker's green trade literature book lists documents for the 7A, 7AA, and 8 that describe them as "super-oiled". However, some 7AA documents omit this term.

I wonder if "super-oiled" was a marketing term that was somewhat loosely applied, or if the term denoted an actual subset of the 7A, 7AA, and 8.

🤔
